School!

It may seem as though I have ventured into a lost and cold tundra in the middle of nowhere to those that know where I am, but I couldn't be too much happier than I am here at BYU-Idaho right now. I am aware that it is still the first day of class and that I will find hard times ahead, but right now I am just filled with the new beginnings of thought and academic understanding. 

I know as well as any that life is not perfect. We'll never have every single thing that we want in the way that we want it, and that is the way that it should be. Right now I know that I am living in a nice place that has heat and a kitchen, among other modern amenities. I know that my teachers are amazing people that care about me as a person and that they have a desire to see me grow as an individual and become more than I am. I know that I am young still and have much to learn, and I know that it snowed today! I am so happy that it did! I know that I had some people looking at me like I am crazy, but I love the snow! It is so beautiful and I just know that this is where I need to be! 

I suppose that I am just blogging a little here to let you know that I am safe, I am happy, and that I love where I am!
